Here at North West Photography Courses we have a simple belief that “Nothing is Stopping You Taking Great Photographs.”
Although we are just a few minutes from Manchester and a very accessible option for those seeking photography courses in Cheshire and Lancashire, our rural setting with deep wooded valleys featuring the remains of some of the oldest cotton mills in the world and open moorland and meadows criss-crossed with dry stone walls, will inspire you to take great photographs and develop new skills and new confidence in your photographic abilities.
The aim of this blog is to keep you up to speed with the photography courses that are coming up and also to share our thoughts on some of the great photographic work we have seen.
We also hope to showcase some of the work by people who have been on our photography courses so that you can see what our students are achieving.
We have set up North West Photography Courses because we saw that whilst there are plenty of courses available nationwide, the opportunity to spend a day in an attractive rural location that is very close to Manchester Cheshire and Lancashire is very limited and not everyone can afford the time and money to head off to the Dales or the Lake District for a weekend, especially when lovely landscape is on your doorstep.
Our tutors Tony and Barrie are expert photographers but down to earth and approachable and this combination is the important ingredient in making your day a success and hopefully you will want to develop your skills over time.
Our specialist courses will appear on here as the right time of year. For example our bluebell photography courses in May and in October we plan to run courses on how to photograph fungi, exploring the river valley.
We will also be outlining our courses on photographing autumn leaves.
For now please favourite our page and sign up to our newsletter to keep informed on what’s happening and of course – please book on a course
See you soon
