The course starts with a tutorial over a coffee to introduce you to the settings on your camera and the golden rules of composing a good shot. Then you’ll venture out into the surrounding countryside, where Greater Manchester meets Lancashire, with the chance of being inspired by woodland scenery and possibly visiting a local riding stable.
It’s a relaxed and informal session, aimed at building your confidence in your ability to see and take photographs that stand out. There are 12 places available on Saturday 26 July exclusively for Creative Tourist readers, with the workshop starting at 9.30am – which means that you’ll have time to chat as you explore the area and take in the world through a lens.
