Lake District Photography Course Offering Three Full Days of Tuition and three nights relaxing accomodation based in the Central Lake District. Capture those Autumn colours!
Join us for a photography course and Autumn mini break in the Lake District, staying at the renowned Lake House Hotel at the top of Lake Windermere.
This is a premium package of photography, sightseeing and outstanding accommodation at rates we believe are unequaled.
The course is aimed at photographers who want to develop their basic or intermediate skills as well as those of you simply seeking a relaxing break with like-minded people.
We welcome both individual guests and couples.
Centrally based at Waterhead at the northern tip of Windermere, stunning scenery is guaranteed and the fells will be glorious in their Autumn colours.
Windermere’s jetties are just a few metres from the hotel door.
We will also take you to some classic Lake District photography locations and one or two unusual spots as well. You will leave a little tired but feel well rested with memory cards bulging with images you will be proud of. All the locations we visit are accessible by foot and car with only a slight physical effort required, but nothing strenuous. The emphasis in on great relaxation and great photography, not slogging up a fell at dawn.
We have chosen a range of Lake District locations which offer possibilities in a range of weather conditions and at different times of the day to make the most of the light.

What Does Our Lake District Photography Course Cover?
- All tuition in a small group of no more than 10 people, offering lots of one to one time
- Three nights Bed & Breakfast (single occupancy or double in en suite room)
- Entrance fees included where appropriate to locations for shoots
- Transport by car to/from photo locations (discount of £25 offered to a guest who can take one or two others in their car)
Not included – travel to/from your home to Cumbria, drinks, meals/refreshments away from or at hotel.
Total price £620.00 per person – RESERVE YOUR PLACE WITH A PAYMENT OF £50.00 – balance of payment to be made by 31 August.
Non-photographers accompanying, add £80 per night
£50.00 per person (non-refundable) deposit payable on booking, balance to be paid no later than 31 August 2015.
We recommend that you take out holiday insurance in case you need to cancel after this date. We hold public liability insurance for our courses in the sum of £1,000,000 per claim
For the course to be viable we need at least three participants to have signed up by 31st August. If you have booked and paid the deposit by then and we do not get enough sign-ups, we will refund your deposit in full.
